The dive resorts on Malapascua Island range from budget-friendly guesthouses to beachfront boutique hotels, all within walking distance of the dive shop.

Whilst we thought for many years about opening a resort, we decided to focus on what we know best: diving. And that leaves you free to choose from a wide range of resort options; we will not tie you into our own resort. We will gladly advise and book your resort on Malapascua. Just let us know your budget, whether you want seaviews and any other information.

The higher-end resorts book up months in advance for major holidays and also during high season (Dec-May), so book as early as you can.

Hot-water showers are available in most AC rooms and in some fan rooms. Many people find hot water is not necessary as “cold” water is usually just tepid and quite refreshing.

Most resorts have wi-fi and, some now have Starlink, and we offer free Starlink wi-fi at TSD. We are in a remote location, but it is still mostly reliable.

Prices are for double/twin rooms. Most resorts have breakfast included and can provide triple rooms for an additional cost. Rates may change at any time without notice. Low season discount may apply (June-October), and we sometimes offer specials of get 1 night + 2 dives free on pacakges in low season. Please contact us to confirm rates.

Blanco Resort

Blanco Resort is an Italian family-owned and run boutique resort, one of the best resorts on the island. It is located about a 5-minute walk from the dive centre. Andrea (different from TSD’s Andrea!) and his parents will be sure to look after you. Its modern deluxe rooms all have incredible sea views. This is at the high end of Malapascua resorts, but does not have a boutique price tag; the rooms are superb value.

Cocobana Beach Resort

Cocobana Resort was the first resort in Malapascua and has a pool. They are just 30 meters from TSD.

Its cottages are in the middle of the main beach with easy access to everything. All Air con. rooms have hot water. Its Super Deluxe AC rooms are very spacious and come with TV and refrigerator. Fan rooms also available and our dive center is within walking distance.

Buena Vida Resort and Spa

At Buena Vida, all rooms offer a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere with modern, contemporary design that blends with the surroundings. Each room features air-conditioning, a fan, minibar, safety box, fresh towels, and complimentary tea, coffee, and water. Guests also receive homemade, all-natural mosquito repellent. Every room has a spacious private bathroom with hot and cold showers. Daily housekeeping and towel exchange are standard. All rooms provide beautiful views of the colorful, tropical gardens.
