Today we are very proud to announce that Thresher Shark Divers has been granted the honor of becoming a PADI 5 STAR IDC CENTER! We are now one of the highest levels of PADI Dive Centers and will be teaching a full range of instructor level courses.
As well as regular IDCs, we will be offering Specialty Instructor Courses, MSDT Programs and Staff Instructor courses. A full 6 month Instructor Internship Program is also available for non-divers.
We have been working towards this for a long time and today was a very happy day for us all at TSD.
About Andrea Agarwal
Andrea Agarwal is a PADI Master Instructor and the founder of Thresher Shark Divers on Malapascua Island, Philippines. Originally from the UK, she moved to the Philippines in 2003 and built what is now one of the largest and most respected dive operations in the country. TSD is a PADI 5-Star Career Development Center (CDC) and the only PADI TecRec facility on Malapascua. Andrea has spent over 20 years diving Malapascua's waters and has been instrumental in developing its reputation as the world's best destination for daily thresher shark encounters.
